Your Extension Care Guide

After showering, use a wet brush or wide-tooth comb for gentle detangling. Apply a leave-in conditioner like Oi Milk to keep your extensions hydrated and manageable.
Don't let your extensions air dry. Hair is more elastic and fragile when wet, and moisture trapped at the weft can lead to scalp irritation or even mold. Always gently towel dry and then follow up with a blow dryer.
Opt for protective styles like a braid or heatless curls when going to bed, and use a silk pillowcase to reduce tangling. And once again, brush your hair before bedtime and upon waking to maintain its smoothness.
And of course don’t forget your Oi Oil. This water soluble, light weight oil can be used as often as desired and won’t build up and dry out your hair over time like other oils. This has been my trusty secret weapon for the last 10 years!
Brush your extensions often, starting from the bottom and moving upwards to avoid pulling and damaging the hair. Always brush before showering to minimize tangles. Use a high-quality boar bristle brush for dry hair to maintain shine and a natural appearance.
In the shower, use Davines moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. These products are great because they offer lightweight conditioning without buildup.
Be cautious with sunscreens. Avoid non-mineral sunscreens and choose products without avobenzine that can harm your extensions.
Before entering a pool, wet your hair in the shower and apply a layer of leave-in conditioner or a regular conditioner. This helps protect your hair from chlorine and other harsh chemicals. However, it's best to limit exposure of your extensions to pool water(and reservoir water!).
